Dr. Belbel has a PhD in Macroeconomics. He founded Bel Asset Management [BAM] in 2001. Within its first decade of operation BAM opened offices in London, Zurich, Luxembourg, New York, and Montreal.
Dr. Belbel was the Co-founder of Eiger Capital, an FSA-regulated investment company from 2004-2009. When Dr. Belbel left the company, it had 6.3 billion under management. Dr. Belbel has been the advisor of several private Banks, and CEO of sevarl investment Fund such as Surel Fund, a Bermudian Fund.
Bel Asset Management, under the leadership of Dr. Belbel, provides tax structuring and financial modeling, financial prospectus design, and strategy development at the macro-economic level with government bodies in the international arena.
BAM has provided International financial advisor services for several high-net-worth individuals and has managed several international investment portfolios.

After obtaining degrees from Bishop’s and Concordia, Rodney was engaged as a research fellow and did 4 years of post-graduate work at Université Laval, followed by a professional degree at McGill

• Rodney has worked from Newfoundland to Manitoba and from Church Hill MB to Naples FL using results-based management techniques to improve service delivery to clients
• In the financial world Rodney has built non-incorporated captive insurance
co-operatives [with AON]; built, for BMO Corporate Finance & Harris Private Bank [working with AON actuaries and BMO’s derivative desk], synthetic fixed-rate term sheets for non-recourse loans for non-profit corporations; and has updated and improved the qualification software used in CCRC retirement communities in the US [for Vi], and has built mortgage products for NHA lenders
• Rodney’s work requires skills in statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and communication. Rodney has been engaged by a variety of professionals and corporations in Canada and the US. Rodney’s focus is back-room mathematical design for professionals in the financial service sector [working with professionals in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Naples…]
• Rodney for the past 8 years has lead agreements and retainers with BAM clients at 866 registered company than has registered BAM in Prince Edward Iland where here reside as his secondary home and handle the current BAM operation.
